We had a lengthy and much needed Christmas break this year. I flew back to good ol' Utah on January 9th to work a holiday shift at the post office. Brig stayed in Nashville until the 15th conquering his finals. After that we basked in almost a full month of family, sleeping, movies, food, games and general yuletide cheer. We bounced back and forth between Kaysville and Logan which allowed us to spend a good chunk of time with both sides of the family.

| Brig's fortune from a family dinner. It's blurry but it says, "A carrot a day may keep cancer away." No kidding. Time to stock up on the veggies. |
| We had lots, and lots, and lots of Christmas candy. Brig's favorite; date balls. Tell me that's not the face of contentment. |

Other unphotographed highlights included a lot of fun game nights, an awesome b-day celebration with my fam, the Cook family New Years day party, and a few get togethers with friends and neighbors. To sum it up, we had a great time and getting back to real life is going to be a bit of a shock to our over-sleeping, over-eating, systems. Still, it feels good to be home and we're excited to see what the next 12 months will bring. Happy New Year!
