Summer!

Summer is a magical time of year. One day you're swamped with tests, studying, stress, projects, and on and on, the next you wake up, and it's all gone. One day you've given up hope of your husband ever being home or awake without a textbook under his face and the next He's suddenly available for a 24 hour movie marathon. Thank you summer. Here are a few of the fun things we've done with our summer so far.   

Mmm Mexican Night

This is at a barbecue/birthday party of a friend of ours. They pulled the grill right up onto the Parthenon steps.

We've finally had time to play some of the card games we got in out Easter basket.

First watermelon of the season

This was taken on a double feature date night. We went to the dollar theater to see a movie. Then we ate dinner at the restaurant next door, and went back to the theater for a second movie. Now that is a sign of having some free time on your hands, pretty awesome.

Our first visit to the Nashville Farmer's Market. We got some fresh zucchini's to make zucchini bread. Then we realized we didn't own a bread pan...
