This past week was Brigham's spring break so we decided to boycott responsibility. This means we did a whole lot of wonderful nothing. I still had to work a few days which turned out to be awesome cause Brig used his alone time to deep clean our apartment. Bonus for me!:) But mostly we played games, watched movies, and took naps. We also went to the book store and finally got out to a hot tourist spot in Nashville, the Parthenon. On the recommendation of some friends, one night we splurged on a pizza stone so that we could make authentic homemade pizza's. I didn't take pictures of the ones we made because they were a lot more work than I expected, by the time they were done I was ready to snarf the little buggers down. Don't worry though, I'm sure there will be future pizza's to photograph.
It was a fun relaxing week! Here are some of the pics we took at the Parthenon and Centennial Park.
| There were a whole lot of big pillars. |
| Some big doors. |
| The also big, kinda ugly, statue that is supposed to be the main attraction. |
| It was cold and rainy the whole week. At least we had the place to ourselves.:) |
| A whole monument, just for Father Cook. |
| Damsel in distress... |
| Hero with muscles. |
| The park was still pretty, even in the rain. Someday we'll go back when it's green.:) |
